3. I'm about to graduate college and be an adult... therefore little kid play time is OVER... if you choose to handle things child that's how I'm going to treat you...

4. I set high standards for my friends... because to me friends are like family... the brothers and sisters you get to choose.... and if I feel like you not putting in the effort or not realizing that my friendship is a valuable gift and not a given... I completely reserve the right to snatch that shit right back..... I'm not asking for special treatment or for you to kiss my ass... but like I said I consider my friends family and would give anything for them... and any relationship takes work... I'm just asking for some reciprocity, I don't feel like that's too much...

and if your immediate response to me cutting you off is to play victim and act like you have no idea whats going on... without ever speaking to me...my point is proven


Anyways I believe you only get up to like 3 great friends in your lifetime anyway

It doesn't necessarily mean everyone else is fucked up... its just the way life works

This song really is the reason I can't decide....


Now it's really hard to compare the two artist because I think they have completely different styles. Although I think they both are really introspective and use the music as a commentary on their own lives....Drake's music is more laid back with a splash of lyrical flair (Ain't on the fence about it, I ain't Mr. Feeny) while Cudi's music is a lot more swag and bravado (I don't need to worry cause I know the world will feel this nigga)


Put it this way... there's no "Dat New New" on So Far Gone and definitely no "Nov. 18" on A Kid Name Cudi


but the two songs I feel are the most similar are:

"The Calm" Drake

I chose these two because A No one else is on the somg with them... it's pure cudi and drake B The songs are both about inner struggle and fame C They're both classic examples of the artist's style:

Anyways.... I had the longest most interesting convos this spring break (so mad it's over) with 2 of my closest friends Mary and Chelsea...

3 Questions:

1. Is loneliness a sign of weakness? (Do we really need men?)
2. Is life not always about doing what you want to do? (Or should you chase your dreams?)
3. Is going through hard times really a measurement of strength of character? (this one needs a little explanation: are you really a stronger person if you put yourself through a whole bunch of unnecessary bullshit/hard times.... isn't strength of character a balance between perseverance and maturity aka the ability and wisdom to walk out of unnecessary situations???)


I'll probably be answering these questions in a future post... of course from my POV... but I want to know what you all think... comment below or hit me up...

New Philosophy

Kid Cudi: I learned from that situation and I'm going to Martin Luther King the next situation, whether it's beef, or rappers calling me out. I will never engage in any beef. I don't care if 50 Cent called me out, I'm never going to respond. A life shouldn't be about bickering, or arguing.

Project Unstoppable

So weather is getting hotter... and the clothes are getting skimpier

time to be unstoppable

I'm trying to get ready for my new life as a grown and sexy college graduate, so I'm working harder than hard working. If you want details let me know but basically Unstoppable involves at lot of time spent in the following places:

1. The Library
2. Ping
3. High heels
4. Salad bars/Subway
5. Fashion blogs

Trying to get like this:

Project Unstoppable is about getting it right inside and out... Surrounding yourself with a lot of love, including the love you have for yourself. My advice? Take one night to yourself a week... don't do work, don't socialize, just chill out and do whatever is that makes you happy. Usually that's a good playlist/movie/book and a looooong shower for me. Maybe it's a night a the gym/jazz club/in bed for you. Just do it... Swear you'll love life the next day. Everything will be blue!
